Understanding how non-financial risks become financially material for investors
I'm Alejandra, an investment research analyst and public accountant focused on commodity markets, ESG investing, and non-financial risk. I hold the CFA Level I, the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing, and the FMVA® designation.
My work examines how sustainability disclosures, supply disruptions, and structural market dynamics become financially material for investors in capital-intensive industries. I combine financial statement analysis, DCF modeling, and quantitative methods — including R-based text mining and time-series analysis — to develop investment frameworks grounded in both financial and non-financial data.
I share selected research and visualizations on this site as part of an ongoing effort to understand structural risks in global commodity markets — from platinum supply concentration to geopolitical transmission channels in energy markets.
The research and visualizations shared on this site reflect two types of work: selected pieces produced during my time at Habemus Media S.A.S. — including analysis of platinum market dynamics and geopolitical transmission channels in global energy markets — shared with the firm's authorization, and independent research, including ongoing work on copper markets and ESG disclosure comparability in Latin America.
Open to research in commodity markets, and sustainable finance.
